Most people Dr. Takamoto works with notice immediate benefits, but to heal the more long term issues in your life it will take some time to unpack and work through the more deep rooted issues in your life.

If you are feeling the heaviness of life and want someone to talk to, therapy can be really beneficial to work through and let go of those heavy feelings.
If you are experiencing any feelings of sadness, hopelessness, anxiety, stress, have had difficult life events, relationship issues, struggles meeting your goals, etc, then therapy might be the right fit for you.
She also offers family therapy if you want to heal relationships within your family.

Dr. Takamoto's sessions are $250 for individual therapy and $300 for couples therapy.

Dr. Takamoto is in-network with Aetna for individual therapy only and offers out-of-network benefits where she gives you a superbill (receipt) at the end of the session or monthly and you can submit it to your insurance for reimbursement. Every plan differs in reimbursement. You can also pay with an HSA or FSA card with your insurance if you'd like.

The first session will be discussing more in depth what brought you to therapy, your life story, and what you want to work on. Dr. Takamoto will go over a game plan for you to reach your goals. Most clients feel great relief after being able to speak about things they may have never shared or haven't talked about in a while with anyone.

Dr. Takamoto meets once a week to ensure a more effective therapy process.
